Sample Press Release: Fitness Franchise
Core Camp: Investing in Lives Everyday
The Society of Behavioral Medicine says, “Including physical activity programming for veterans in community organizations is important for helping veterans make healthy transitions to life after military service.” This is exactly what Core Camp is setting out to do.
Core Camp was created by Ellie Bishop, a Denver, Colorado native stationed for 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps base in San Diego. During this chapter of her life, fitness and strength was 75% of Ellie’s job. Between bootcamps and training practices, it’s no wonder she was used to an energetic lifestyle! Upon retirement in 2015, Ellie found herself missing the way she was able to stay fit and active whilst serving on base. Quickly, he found an opportunity in the market for a military affiliated fitness business; thus, Core Camp was born in San Diego, Ca. In 2016, Ellie began to franchise after the success of 3 corporate locations! Today, Core Camp has grown to 20 franchised locations throughout the state of California.
Unlike competing bootcamp concepts, Core Camp provides a full-workout in only 45 minutes while also offering an express class for 30 minutes! These all encompassing exercises cater to men and women who want a high-intensity, obstacle-focused workout in a short period of time. Ellie always says “You give the most power in under an hour.”
The tailored classes incorporate indoor and outdoor obstacle courses where participants can work out using interval training with tools like monkey bars, tires, ropes and more. As opposed to other bootcamp competitors, Core Camp can do it faster and stronger. Ellie beams whenever explaining that “Local communities deserve the best, so why not work with the best too! We diligently interview and educate every staff member that walks through these doors in order to help them level up their vibe as well as each Camp as a whole.” With every class instructor having a certified personal trainer, you can guarantee your health and safety is in good hands.
Each franchise of Core Camp is special in their own way, and it means even more to see veterans become business owners with a place that feels like home. With the continued success in California, this business has high hopes of doubling the amount of locations in two years, specifically in Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. Each new location opening creates 15-20 full time jobs with benefits which will in turn feed those respective communities. We want to expand our mission for fitness accessibility and that’s why we need your investments to make those dreams come true. Core Camp looks forward to what obstacles we can conquer together!
Note from the Author: Core Camp is a non-existent company— did I fool you? Maybe a little? This press release was created out of a detailed project for a hypothetical organization hoping to expand its franchises. Hope you enjoyed it!
